Adopting a cat is

give you information on low-cost spay/neuter programs;
low-cost
vaccinations; & phone numbers for other
no-kill cat rescue organizations
that can help you
rehome or adopt a pet.
Can't adopt a cat? No problem,
you can still volunteer & help us. You can foster, volunteer at our adoption center or help us with fundraising events or simply

We receive calls every day
from people who are finding momma cats & their kittens & orphaned
kittens. We cannot help these cats & kittens unless we find more
foster homes. If they are taken to the shelter they will be
euthanized. We are encouraging people not to do this. They are
calling other rescue organizations in Las Vegas & are being told
that they cannot
help them.
We do not want to tell them that. We want to help!
Consider fostering & assisting us in saving these precious
lives.
These kittens & cats are living outside until we find them a safe
home
to stay in. All you have to do is provide a safe room or spare
bathroom
for them to live in. We will provide food & litter if needed.
You only have to keep the
kittens until they are 12 weeks old. Then they
go to our vet for spay/neuter & vaccinations & then are
placed into our Adoption
Program.
The momma cats can wean the kittens at 6-7 weeks & then we can get
her spayed & vaccinated & placed into Adoptions.
If you can't foster, consider volunteering or donating supplies.

Pet-A-Palooza
Saturday, April 12th
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Last year's event again grew in attendance, attracting over 15,000
attendees to the Star Nursery Fields at Sam Boyd Stadium. As always,
gate proceeds are donated to every animal non-profit group in
attendance, and the number of rescue groups at Pet-a-Palooza has
been growing.

Time to spring clean & get the clutter out of your home!
Sale will be held at the parking lot on Eastern & Tropicana
(on the southeast side of the street)

We can accept new & gently used items to sell,
sorry, we cannot accept large appliances or mattresses.
We have also invited other animal rescue groups to particpate
in the sale & raise money for their non-profit organizations.

Calendar Contest!
Submit your favorite pet's photo & they could be chosen to appear
on our 2009 Pet Calendar. Dogs, cats, birds, turtles, snakes,
whatever pet(s) you have, submit their photo!
Each submission is $3 or submit two photos for $5.

We will award one grand prize winner & that photo will appear on
the front of the calendar & win $100!
2nd prize winner will appear on the inside front cover & win $50.

Volunteers are
needed to help at our Adoption Center
at the PetSmart on
Charleston & Nellis.
You can choose one night
each week or one morning
to feed & water the cats &
tidy their cages & litter boxes.
You can also volunteer on
the weekends.
We adopt cats every
Saturday & Sunday at the Adoption
Center inside of PetSmart
at Charleston & Nellis.
